This first trailer of 21 Jump Street looks pretty convincing: this adaptation doesn't really stick to the original TV series, but i do like their take. The 21 Jump Street movie is going to be awesome.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller (who brought us Cloudy with A chance of Meatballs) have been hired by Columbia Pictures to directed a movie adaptation of 21 Jump Street, the popular TV show from the end of the 1980's. It's about a team of young police officers who go under cover in college and universities to track young criminals. The script has been written by Actor Jonah Hill who's a real fan of 21 Jump Street.

21 Jump Street has been a real stepping stone for Johnny Depp's career. And he still keeps found memories of the series, he even said he would be glad to get a cameo in Jonah Hill's movie adaptation:


I wasn't much fan of the first season of 21 Jump Street, but I became addicted to the show starting the second season. So I'm quite glad that they're now working on a 21 Jump Street movie. Hope to get more information soon!
